              Coronavirus has affected the whole world and Pakistan is one of those countries that were badly affected by coronavirus. On February 26th,2020 first case of coronavirus was detected in Pakistan. After the first case number of patients in Pakistan exponentially increase. Govt of Pakistan Imposed a complete lockdown on the whole country. Due to these circumstances, educational institutes were closed for most of the year 2020. Govt came up with smart lockdown policy that eases lockdown and people started their necessary activities.

                Different govt and private educational institutes started online teaching using a number of applications like ZOOM. In Pakistan, most of the students of matriculation and intermediate don’t have a device to attend these lectures and some don’t have a working internet connection. To address these issues Punjab Curriculum & Text Board came up with a scheme to lighten the burden of students. PCTB provided student relief and shorten their syllabus.

              PCTB named this smart syllabus Advanced Learning Program. In this ALP some of the topics from different chapter has been removed and are not necessary to learn this year.
